A few years ago, our founder opened the dishwasher after a full cycle and noticed something was off. The dishes looked partially clean, but the machine itself smelled musty, damp, and strangely unpleasant.

At first, he blamed the detergent. Then the rinse aid. Then hard water. But the smell kept coming back.

So he checked the filter and hidden drain area. What he found was not pretty.
